Beautiful Words

Beautiful words stir my heart. I will recite a lovely poem about the king, for my tongue is like the pen of a skillful poet.

TEN MINUTES

TEN MINUTES

Ten minutes could be nothing,  yet could be a greatly precious,  depends on how ones see and use it

Few weeks before the end of last year, I was waiting for an important moment. Unfortunately I cannot tell you the details here. Passionately and with thumping I waited day after day till the time comes.

What happened?  For one reason I was late for 10 minutes from the due times. Only 10 minutes, not more! But what I said “ONLY 10 minutes” has successfully made me overwhelmed with regret and disappointment for a few days until I was able to release and let it go.

Apparently only 10 minutes that I have missed but actually I’ve missed a moment that will never come back again. Though finally I could repeat the moment, but I just felt that everything wasn’t the same.

Every time elapsed has the price. Ten minutes, one minute, even one second, can make a big difference in someone’s life.

One second delay could mean one’s life for doctors and patients.

Difference of one second as valuable as a trophy of victory for an athlete

And for all mankind that celebrate the New Year, one second could mean one number for one year.

At the last-minute before the New Year comes, all people counting down the seconds until the last second. Then in one blink of an eye number on the calendar has been changed. The year we live is incremented by one number!

We live in a time that continues to moving forward. Time will keep going no matter we appreciate it or not, lagging behind or not! I am grateful to still have an opportunity to repeat the moment of my ten minutes. How about you? Are there valuable things that you have missed?

Did you have some quality time with those you love? Have you had the assurance of salvation for your soul? Have entire of your family receive salvation from Christ? Have you lived in the Lord’s call?

Wisely,  redeeming the time as long as there is an opportunity because there will come the time for everyone to close their life’s book.  When the time comes, nobody obtain the second chance on anything that they have missed,  even it is only ten minutes!

Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. (Ephesians 5:15-17)

another question to think and ponder: have we could manage our own time very well to do every of our activities? have we successfully manage our intimacy time with God. The last thing is the most important thing than other. How we could bring people to the God’s salvation if we don’t have a good relationship and put Him as our time manager of our life. Not simply ten, one second with God is the precious time than other. Great post! Be blessed.
