Beautiful Words

Beautiful words stir my heart. I will recite a lovely poem about the king, for my tongue is like the pen of a skillful poet.

GOD HAS DONE FOR ME

GOD HAS DONE FOR ME

Last week, on my husband’s birthday we made a long trip to other city for a business. The outcome of the trip will greatly affect on our further lives. It never crossed in our mind that one day we will set our foot there…..

There was no direct flight to the city so we had to go through very long trip. We drove a car for thousand kilometers, passed through 3 province and tens of city that we just passed for the first time. Departing from home in the early morning and we reached the destination at 8 pm. Around 16 hours we drove down the road.

Actually, by human calculation there is no definite assurance that the trip we have taken would be successful. We briefly considered not to go because of the distance and cost that we will spent. But thank to God one day before we left God gave me a promise in His word:

O Lord, you make us secure, for even ALL WE HAVE ACCOMPLISHED, YOU HAVE DONE FOR US. (Isaiah 26:12 NET)

As humans we have 50:50 chances or even zero but if God has promised the certainty of our success will definitely a hundred percent.  We just keep remember His promise and hold it along our trip. If a bit anxiety began to harass me, immediately I said the word in my heart, mind, and in my mouth. I learned to trust God and walked in His promise. God has promised that everything we do actually God does for us. IF GOD DOES FOR US, COULD HE FAIL? NO! IT IS IMPOSSIBLE! IT WILL SURELY SUCCEED!

NOT HUMAN

King Jehoshaphat once experienced in 2 Chronicles 20. At the time, the children of Moab and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle. It was a very large of army. Jehoshaphat was afraid then took a decision to seek the Lord. He called for all the Judah for fasting to seek God and ask for His help. God heard their prayer. Through Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, God gave His promise:

And he said, “Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, FOR THE BATTLE IS NOT YOURS, BUT GOD’S. Tomorrow go down against them. They will surely come up by the Ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the brook before the Wilderness of Jeruel. YOU WILL NOT NEED TO FIGHT IN THIS BATTLE. Position yourselves, STAND STILL AND SEE THE SALVATION OF THE LORD, WHO IS WITH YOU, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.” (2 Chronicles 20:15-17 NKJV)

Jehoshaphat trust in God. He advanced to face the army of who attacked him, but not by relying on his weapon. Instead, Jehoshaphat appointed people who would sing songs to the Lord and praise the Lord in holy clothes lively when they come out in front of armed people. This was that happened: Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated (2 Chronicles 20:22 NKJV). They were killing each other until dead (Verse 23).

We have to know! It happens BEFORE Jehoshaphat and his army arrived there!

So when Judah came to a place overlooking the wilderness, they looked toward the multitude; and there were their dead bodies, fallen on the earth. No one had escaped. (2 Chronicles 20:24 NKJV)  GOD DID ALL, NOT HUMAN!

At the time Jehoshaphat got an outstanding victory, even he got a lot of booty in the form of livestock, possessions, clothes and valuables which they stripped off for themselves more than they could carry away. For three days they plunder it because too many (Verse 25).

What the Lord did in the time of Jehoshaphat always do by Him to this day. God always cares and works in real terms in our lives. Whatever we face, if we are in the correct position before God and live in Him, we really do not need to fear and worry. If fear and anxiety whack, seek God and come back to God’s promises in His Word. God is Emmanuel, God is with us. Everything we do, God will do it for us. We just need to be obedient and do our part wholeheartedly and believe in God. MIRACLES are the Lord’s part.

“…….He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, HE WHO OPENS AND NO ONE SHUTS, and SHUTS AND NO ONE OPENS.” (Revelation 3:7 NKJV)

If He breaks a thing down, it cannot be rebuilt; If He imprisons a man, there can be no release. If He withholds the waters, they dry up; If He sends them out, they overwhelm the earth. (Job 12:14-15 NKJV)

No one can hold back God. Nothing can thwart His work. If God did for us, the miracle must have occurred. What is impossible for us, nothing is impossible for God. How great is our God!

GOD KEEPS HIS PROMISE

We had been through a total of three days trip. Departed and went back to home. Our bodies were tired but God gives joy. God has made our trip successful. Not only that, God did it in exactly the right timing as our prayer.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, as the Lord Jesus had been with me and have done for us; I believe God also would do it for you. Stick, hope, trust, and always live in God’s promise. God will keep them. Amen.
